Food/Exercise log 10/13/09

 I did make it to the gym and got my ass kicked by Toni in spinning.  I burned 563 calories according to my HRM.

Spinning was awesome.  Toni really pushed us this evening.  And I pushed myself when she said to crank up the resistance.   I mean, I always did but tonight I really added that extra bit.  When we were in zone 4, I knew I was in zone 4.  I could hardly breathe, and seriously I thought I could have passed out.  But it was awesome when we came out zone 4 and into recovery I felt great, and great that I *could* do this.    When it was over I felt amazing, and I still do.  It was so nice after to just sit and soak in the hot tub and relax b/c  I felt like I earned it.  

I really hope I can keep this up.  It has been 7 weeks since I joined and while I have a had a few setbacks I just hope I can still be making these kinds of posts in 6 months.  

I do feel like I ate a ton today, but spaghetti squash has 42 cals a cup so… and strawberries are yum and healthy

protein shake w/ skim milk, strawberries and a small banana
english muffin

lunch:
cup of spaghetti squash with a little butter and cheese

snack:
activia smoothie
luna bar
strawberries

dinner:
Lean Cuisine quesedilla
protein smoothie with strawberries
small piece of spinach pizza from my roommate
froz. yogurt (1 serving cup)
