Long workout

Today was the first day I felt I had the energy to do back to back workouts. I did an hour of lifting followed by 30 minutes of spinning (which was filled with sprints and pushups on the bike). I’m actually impressed I was able to walk after spinning (a total of 15km).

For weights we did:

Standing Barbell Shoulder Press:
12.5 kg x 5 reps
12.5 kg x 5 reps
15 kg x 5 reps
17.5 kg x 3 reps
20 kg x 2 reps
25 kg x 5 reps
25 kg x 5 reps
25 kg x 5 reps

Barbell Squat:
20 kg x 5 reps
20 kg x 5 reps
25 kg x 5 reps
30 kg x 3 reps
40 kg x 2 reps
52.5 kg x 5 reps
52.5 kg x 5 reps
52.5 kg x 5 reps

Barbell Deadlift:
25 kg x 5 reps
25 kg x 5 reps
35 kg x 3 reps
50 kg x 2 reps
62.5 kg x 5 reps

As a result I’m dead tired right now. I could easily fall asleep if it weren’t still light out.

In other news I am totally pissed off that Hugh Laurie wasn’t nominated for an Emmy. This was his last chance to get nominated as House. I honestly think the way season 8 was handled and how he portrayed the character, that he deserved this last chance to win.

On the polar opposite of feels OMG SHERLOCK 13 nominations!!!!!!! Benedict Cumberbatch (on his 36th birthday!) was nominated for best actor in a mini series and Martin Freeman was nominated for best supporting actor in a mini series. So thrilled! 🙂

Anyways, all in all it was a good day and I think I may be asleep sooner than later.
