What vitamins and supplements do you take?

As part of the September blogging writing challenge, I will be writing posts each day based on a topic given (just like last month)!

Today’s topic is what vitamins and supplements do you take?

I take a multivitamin and a Vitamin D supplement (10,000 IU).  I know that sounds like a lot, but I have had chronic low D levels.  My test was like 4; normal is 32.  So I make sure I get sun whenever I can in Glasgow (not often, but if the sun is out, I am outside like today!) and supplement with the vitamins.

When I was diagnosed with super low levels, I was exhausted ALL. THE. TIME.  I’d go to bed at 7pm, get up at 6am the next day, go to work, come home and nap, get up have dinner, and go back to bed.  It was awful!

I should probably take a calcium supplement, but given all the protein shakes I’ve been consuming (with milk) I think I’m ok for now.

 

Do you take any supplements or vitamins?

    Hi Cindy,
    Vitamin B12 is good for an energy lift. You already ready my crazy supplement list but here it is as part of the blogger challenge.

    I’m catching up on all the blog posts 🙂 My list from my first bodybuilding competition was pretty long because I had to 1) lose 50 lbs., 2) gain lean muscle mass. But don’t worry – my list is shorter this time around (just building muscle!)
