This day has been never ending and has been filled with ups and downs.
In preparation for tomorrow’s final weigh-in at the gym I took my measurements. In 6 weeks I lost 4 inches in my waist and 2 in my hips. Overall, ~17 inches have been lost in a month. I feel good about that. 🙂 I finally feel like I’m progressing.
The bad or rather, insane.
I went to Uni yesterday to find out why I was having issues registering. The queue was 50 people long, so I was like NO. I had to go to the GP anyways, so it was fine. So this morning I was planning on getting up really early, but when my alarm went off at 9, I was like no. Anyways I got up at 11 and made it to uni by noon. At 1, I was finally seen by someone. Apparently I don’t exist for this term. WTF!?! So many frantic emails have been sent and they are trying to figure out why this has happened and why I didn’t get the email that told me about registration, etc.
AND then I found out that as part of being in the PhD programme (I’m technically new, since I started in January but haven’t fully started) I have to take many courses over this year and all of this starts next Monday. Eeeeek! It’s all a bit stressful since I don’t get my loan money until the 17th and being on campus all next week will be trying to say the least.
I did manage to get to spin class and get out my frustrations; 18 kilometers worth. I did notice that spinning has got FAR easier. I don’t feel like I am going to never breathe again and it was a challenge to get my heart rate up and over 170, which is a far change from the last few classes I’ve taken.
I can’t wait to go to bed and hope that tomorrow is far better.
Now if only I could get the washing machine to work. 😐
