Today’s topic: How often do you weigh yourself?
Generally, I try to weigh myself every day, even though (sometimes) it makes me kind of crazy. If I know the day before I had too much salt, I won’t bother. However, I have found it helpful to keep my accountable. As long as the trend is downward, then I am happy.
I know that watching the scale can be problematic, especially when weight training, so I always take measurements and am mindful of how my clothes are fitting. (Even though the weight loss isn’t dramatic, I pretty much have to buy all new clothes at this point since nothing fits right at all. I don’t mind, it’s just an added expense. I plan on just buying a few basics and utilizing the tons of charity shops in Glasgow! I pretty much will wear anything until it’s falling off.)
How often do you weigh yourself? Do you only use the scale as a measure of progress?
