My proudest fitness accomplishment

As part of the September blogging writing challenge, I will be writing posts each day based on a topic given (just like last month)!

Today’s topic is to write about your proudest fitness accomplishment.  This is hard to write about because I’m still on this particular journey.  I guess at this point I would have to say running crawling a 10K.  I had started out training fine, but then the weather, my headaches, and just generally being unmotivated led to me not being very ready at all to run.  That and the rain and the fact I wore far to many layers to feel “quick.”  (One of these days I will figure out when running a race to just wear the basics, and not 3 layers of clothing!)  The fact that really matters is that I actually did it, even if I was really, really slow.  I think from now on I’ll stick to 5K’s.  🙂
