Days 29 and 30: Review of November goals and new goals for December

In today’s November health/fitness blogger challenge dailyit’s time to review November’s goals and make new ones for December.

For November I pretty much failed at all my goals.  I totally did not anticipate how tiring working retail 3-4 days a week (in a row) would be on top of trying to get uni work done.

I didn’t make it to the gym once.  I’ve been walking 3-4 days a week and I’m on my feet 6 hours a day 3-4 days a week.  While I’m working I do do a lot of walking around the store, so it’s not for nothing.  I have made the decision that I do need to switch to a closer gym, and will be doing that as soon as I decide which gym I’m switching to.  I need to check out the Glasgow club down the street from me and see if they have spinning.  If no, I will probably switch to the new Anytime Fitness that is opening down the street next month.

I didn’t do any reviews or giveaways on my blog.  I haven’t been contacted by anyone, and to be honest blogging hasn’t been a priority recently due to being so busy.  I give all of you full time working people/mom’s/everyone out there props.  I can hardly get out of bed after working 6 hours and then come home and crash out on the couch and don’t move until bedtime.  I’m a mess.  (I do think the chronic headaches have a bit to play here as well.)

I didn’t do the challenge daily (busy) and some of them didn’t really apply to me here in Scotland.  (I only got 3 tiny slices of turkey when we had Thanksgiving and there were NO leftovers I could eat.  🙁   )

I most certainly didn’t make it to the office once a week.  I made it once.  I did go to the library a few times so I could do work with Steph.

So goals for December.

1. Maintain my weight, if not lose.

2. Pick a new gym.

3. Finish my stats assignment on time.

4. Get my knee checked out.  (I’ve been putting this off for months b/c busy/lazy/schedule conflicts.

I want to make goals I know I can actually keep so I feel successful.  I know December is going to be crazy busy with getting my assignment done and working.

    Definitely get your knee checked out! Don’t self-diagnose or ignore it. 🙁 I’m going through knee issues right now and I wish I hadn’t let it get as bad as it got…

    I am planning to go next Wednesday. The times they have physio walk-ins have not coincided well with my schedule. It is feeling better, but I’m afraid if I go for a run/take a spinning class it will be all downhill again, so I am definitely going ASAP.
