Day 11 of “Paleo”

Note, how I’ve completely glossed over day 10’s food.  Almost like it never happened, or I just don’t want to talk about it.  (Way too many carbs, like a ridiculous amount.)

Yesterday was the last day of the conference and I was busier than I thought I would be.  It happens.  Everything went fine, and I was excited because there was a presentation I was really looking forward to in the afternoon.  The morning keynote was really good as well; it was about the UK Riots last year.  The rest of the day went quickly and I was very glad to come home and nap.

Today I’ve been in a lot of pain.  My shoulder is acting up again (something tells me carrying my bag + conference bags + a 40 pound box for 5 minutes from building to building was a bad idea), my knee hurts, and of course my head hurts.  I’ve gone from hungry to queasy more times I can count, so my food has been light and bland.

For breakfast/lunch (I mean it was like 1pm) we had salmon and sweet potatoes.  (Bonus creeper Molly trying to get some salmon.)

After we ate, we headed out to the store since we were out of food for dinner and breakfasts (hence salmon for breakfast/lunch).  Of course a trip out wouldn’t have been a good one if I hadn’t stopped for coffee first.  Mmmm iced whole milk latte.  🙂  We also popped into Boots and a charity shop where I got a bag that matches my new Toms! 🙂

(I will try to get a pic of them both tomorrow.)

We went to Waitrose and picked up chicken, veggies, dark chocolate, eggs, salad, etc.  It was such a miserable, gray day out.  🙁  My knee was killing so we didn’t stay out too long. That and I wanted to get back and get some work done.  (NB: it’s now 9pm and I’ve got one thing crossed off today’s to do list.)

For dinner I had a salad with a bit of cheddar and a kind of mostly balsamic vinegar dressing.  We also had a roast chicken and sprouts, and I failed to take a picture.

Right now I am trying to get some things done so I can cross them off the list so that I feel like I got *something* done today.

Do you make lists?

Do I make lists? ALL the time! Never used to and consequently was one of the most disorganised people on the planet. Now I do and life is a lot easier and get so much more accomplished 😀

My problem lately is making lists, and then never doing anything on the list. Today is a prime example of that.
