(obviously the “5k” yesterday was day 2)
Today’s an active rest day. My legs were *killing* last evening. (I actually fell asleep wearing my compression socks!) It wasn’t as if I’d run a 10k, it was only 3.66km (if my iPhone was right). And then I thought about it for a minute. Less than a month ago, I couldn’t run a minute, never mind run 85% of a what was supposed to be a 5k! No wonder I was sore!
I also decided I *really* needed new trainers if I am going to continue to run, so I broke down and bought the trainers I was fitted for last weekend, only somewhere were they were £20 cheaper!
Today’s activity is nothing very exciting. I walked to the office and back (via Waitrose). Just trying to keep my legs from feeling tight!
